In 2018, the company recorded 17 environmental incidents, an 11 per cent improvement over 2017, and aims to reach zero incidents.

“CN is proud to recognize our partners for their efforts to reduce supply chain emissions, increase energy efficiency and drive sustainable business practices,” says Mark Lerner, vice-president of marketing and business development at CN.

The railway company is planting 120,000 trees in 2019 throughout Canada and the United States to honour its EcoConnexions partners.
